DSTV-Interface

The interface is compatible with all common CAD systems such as CADPLAN, HiCad and Autocad.

When you open a DSTV file (.dat) in a text editor, a typical line contains various information about an item, such as the type, manufacturer number and material grade. For example, an ‘H’ at the beginning of a line indicates important articles (main articles). The manufacturer number and material type must then be derived from the DSTV file in E·R·Plus.

Similar processes must be carried out for different types of items, such as attachments and screws, whereby the specific information is transferred from the corresponding columns of the DSTV file.

Items that are not recognised by the system are named on the basis of their material and quality.
