T.A.Project GmbH was founded in Bochum in 2003 by Thomas Annies and Carsten Schragmann.

With just a handful of staff, and drawing on 17 years of experience in the metalworking industry, E·R·Plus – a comprehensive software solution for operational and production management – was developed, implemented and successfully established on the market specifically for the metalworking sector.

The consistent implementation of the company’s philosophy of working in a flexible and customer-focused manner and fostering a partnership-based relationship with customers has contributed to the IT company’s steady growth.

At the end of 2006, the T.A. Project team moved into new offices in a former colliery building in the south of Essen that had been converted into an office complex; the building’s atmosphere underscores the managing directors’ connection to their home region. In 2008, T.A. Project GmbH established the subsidiary AsteQ B.V. in the Netherlands. The software is now used both nationally and internationally. Sales are successfully supported across Europe by various distribution partners (see Partners).

T.A.Project GmbH currently employs a young, dynamic and dedicated team of over 35 multilingual staff specialising in programming and customer support, and is already one of the leading IT companies providing ERP solutions for the metal, façade and steel construction sectors.
